March 1 We decided to go on some guided excursions for our first day in Charleston to include the Magnolia Plantation. Here are our Belles on a Bridge. The story was particularly interesting since it was a rice plantation, not cotton, and pulling fresh water from the brackish lowlands required some ingenuity. |
